Satellogic and HEO have signed a three-year agreement giving HEO access to Satellogic’s spacecraft for non-Earth imaging. Announced on October 29, 2026, the agreement runs through 2029 and includes a seven-figure minimum annual commitment.
Non-Earth imaging directs a satellite’s camera toward objects in orbit. HEO uses the resulting observations to inspect spacecraft and generate information about their condition and configuration.
The agreement covers NewSat Mark IV, Mark V, and Mark VI satellites, including spacecraft equipped with inter-satellite links. Access to multiple spacecraft provides different viewing opportunities and observation angles.
The partnership began in September 2020 with an engineering effort to adapt Satellogic’s Earth-observation spacecraft for orbital imaging. Its first capture showed the International Space Station. Successful captures grew from about 30 in 2021 to more than 1,600 under the most recent annual agreement.
The companies also released an October 24 image of AST’s BlueWalker 3. NewSat 46 acquired it from 17.22 kilometers away, with a reported image resolution of three centimeters per pixel.
