Date in UTC
Zond 1967B was an uncrewed Soyuz 7K-L1 test mission launched on November 22, 1967 as part of preparations for Soviet circumlunar flights. A second-stage engine failure interrupted the Proton launch. The escape system separated the capsule from the failing rocket, and the capsule was recovered. The spacecraft did not carry out the planned flight toward lunar distance.
