This directory is maintained by its editors and corrected by its readers.

Both go to the same queue and neither changes the directory on its own. An editor reads every submission and decides what happens to it.
Submitting an event
You will be asked for the name, what happens at it, both dates, how people can attend, where it is held and its official website. An accepted submission becomes a draft entry marked unverified with provisional dates; it appears in the directory only once somebody has checked it against the organizer’s own site.
Correcting an event
Every event carries its own Correction button, which names the event for you and records which version of the page you were reading. Say what is wrong and link to a page showing the right information: a correction with a source behind it can be acted on in minutes, and one without it has to be researched from scratch.
Your name and email address are optional, are used only to come back to you with a question about what you sent, and are never published.
