Administers China's human spaceflight program, including the Tiangong space station and the systems and missions that support crewed operations. Its responsibilities include coordination of spacecraft, astronaut missions and related ground infrastructure. It is institutionally distinct from CNSA and is associated with China's development of capabilities for future crewed lunar exploration.
