| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-07 13:53 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 310 km/s | 1 | — | STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2, SOHO: LASCO/C2, SOHO: LASCO/C3, GOES: CCOR-1 | CME first seen to the NE in STEREO A COR2 starting at 2026-10-07T13:53Z. So far it is only visible in COR2A. The source of this CME is a C7.9 class flare from AR 14549 (N10W04) peaking at 2026-10-07T13:17Z best seen in SDO AIA 171. Some dimming and an EUVI wave associated with the eruption can be seen in SDO AIA 193. Some deflection is evident in the measurement of this CME, likely due to it close proximity to a coronal hole to the SE of AR 14549. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-08 16:12 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 449 km/s | 1 | — | SOHO: LASCO/C2 | CME faintly seen to the east in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1. The CME may potentially be visible to the west in STEREO A COR2. The potential source for this CME may be beyond the east limb, as moving field lines are seen in SDO AIA 193 starting around 2026-10-08T09:21Z. Some ejecta of material can also be seen beyond the east limb in GOES SUVI 304 as well. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-08 16:24 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 579 km/s | 1 | 2026-10-10T01:48:00-IPS-001 | SOHO: LASCO/C2, SOHO: LASCO/C3, STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2, GOES: CCOR-1 | CME visible to the west in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1 as well as possibly faintly to the east in STEREO A COR2. This CME overlaps in the field of view with the CME first seen in STEREO A COR2 at 2026-10-08T16:53Z. The potential source is a filament eruption centered around N05W25 as best seen in SDO AIA 193/304 imagery. The eruption is best seen as dimming starting at 2026-10-08T09:21Z in SDO AIA 193. The filament liftoff can be best seen from the point of view of STEREO A EUV 195/304, in the NE quadrant from the point of view of STEREO A. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-08 16:53 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 504 km/s | 3 | 2026-10-08T15:29:00-FLR-001 | STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2, GOES: CCOR-1 | CME visible to the NE in STEREO A COR2 and the NW in GOES CCOR-1. There was a real-time data gap in SOHO LASCO imagery at the start of the CME, but this backfilled with additional imagery. The source for this CME is an M6.7 class flare from AR 14549 (N12W20) which peaked at 2026-10-08T15:48Z. The flare is best seen in SDO AIA 131. The accompanying EUV wave which spans the entire NW quadrant of the Earth-facing disk is best seen in SDO AIA 193. The eruption is also visible in STEREO A EUV 195/304 imagery. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-08 18:38 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 868 km/s | 1 | — | STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 | Faint CME observed to the E only in STEREO A COR2 Science Data, as a real-time gap in STEREO A COR2 beacon data spanning 2026-10-08T18:53Z to 2026-10-09T17:53Z obscured real-time observations of this CME. CME leading edge not observed in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 or GOES CCOR-1. Partial overlap with CMEs 2026-10-08T16:24Z and CME 2026-10-08T16:53Z. The source is an on-disk filament eruption in the vicinity of AR 14548, starting around 2026-10-08T17:13Z, with the filament spanning a curved arc from S08E15 to S21E24 to S15E05 before liftoff in SDO AIA 304. Eruption observed as filament ejecta, brightening, and double-ribbon flare in SDO AIA 304, and as field line movement, dimming, and brightening/post-eruptive arcades in SDO AIA 171/193/211. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-08 20:12 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 453 km/s | 1 | — | SOHO: LASCO/C2, SOHO: LASCO/C3, GOES: CCOR-1 | CME visible to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1, directly following CME: 2026-10-08T16:53Z in the field of view. The CME is not visible in STEREO A COR2, and a data gap starts at 2026-10-08T18:53Z. The potential source is unclear, with several potential source candidates on the disk. The most likely candidate is a possible eruption from AR 14547 (N15W85) seen starting around 2026-10-08T16:19Z as dimming and moving field lines. The eruption is also faintly visible from the point of view of STEREO A EUV 195 imagery. Another candidate source is a filament eruption starting around 2026-10-08T18:09Z centered around S15E10 as seen in SDO AIA 193/304, but this is not a likely source candidate due to the location of the eruption. This eruption's proximity to a coronal hole may result in some deflection of the eruption. The third possible eruption candidate is activity from AR 14549 (N10W25), but it is not clear if this is a separate eruption from the one that produced CME: 2026-10-08T16:53Z. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-09 00:45 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 293 km/s | 1 | — | GOES: CCOR-1 | CME faintly seen to the east in GOES CCOR-1 imagery. There is a data gap in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 imagery starting at 2026-10-09T00:48Z and a data gap starting in STEREO A COR2 at 2026-10-09T00:53Z. The source is likely beyond the E limb as seen in available EUV imagery, as slow moving field lines are visible on the E limb in SDO AIA 193 and GOES SUVI 284 imagery starting as early as 2026-10-08T18:30Z. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-09 07:15 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 391 km/s | 1 | — | GOES: CCOR-1 | CME seen to the NW in GOES CCOR-1 imagery. There is a data gap in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2 at the time of this CME. The potential source is unclear, but is likely an eruption from AR 14547 (approximately N15W90) starting around 2026-10-09T06:30Z, best seen as moving/opening field lines in SDO AIA 193 and GOES SUVI 284 imagery. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-09 08:00 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 270 km/s | 1 | — | GOES: CCOR-1 | CME visible to the NNW in GOES CCOR-1 imagery. There is no SOHO LASCO C2/C3 or STEREO A COR2 data available during this time, with a data gap in SOHO imagery starting at 2026-10-09T00:48Z and no STEREO A COR2 data available since 2026-10-09T01:09Z. The source for this CME is not found in available EUV imagery. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-09 14:36 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 315 km/s | 1 | 2026-10-09T13:55:00-FLR-001 | SOHO: LASCO/C2, SOHO: LASCO/C3, GOES: CCOR-1 | Faint CME with a loop front seen to the NW in the early SOHO LASCO C2 imagery, also seen faintly in C3 and GOES CCOR-1. It is fully covered by long data gap in STEREO A COR2 coronagraph. The source is the occulted (or on-limb) M1.3 flare likely from Active Region 14547 (N15W94), now decayed to a plage, which had just rotated off the visible disk before the flare. Other coronal signatures include a small ejecta seen in SDO AIA 304 at the time of the flare and movement/opening of field lines seen to the NW behind the limb in SDO AIA 171/193 and GOES SUVI 304/284. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-10 08:36 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 368 km/s | 1 | — | SOHO: LASCO/C2, SOHO: LASCO/C3, STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2, GOES: CCOR-1 | CME observed to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2. The source is former AR 14547 (~N15W105) as directly observed by STEREO A around the west limb from SDO. Observed across SDO AIA 131/171/193/211/304 as field line movement and EUV wave, and brightening, starting around 2026-10-10T07:51Z, partially obscured by a rare transit of the moon across the SDO AIA field-of-view. Possibly it is the same faint narrow CME that is also seen at the time NE in SOHO LASCO C2 for a few early timestamps and not seen in C3 or GOES C3. No source has been found in EUV imagery for this event. | |
| Coronal mass ejection — 2026-10-10 16:15 UTC | Coronal mass ejection | — | 1553 km/s | 2 | 2026-10-10T14:58:00-FLR-001, 2026-10-13T00:21:00-IPS-001 | GOES: CCOR-1, SOHO: LASCO/C2, SOHO: LASCO/C3 | CME observed to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1, with a full halo shock. Not yet observed in STEREO A COR2 white light imagery. The source is AR 14549, associated with an M6.4 flare peaking at 2026-10-10T15:10Z observed in SDO AIA 131.
