Human beings can formulate meaningful questions that they cannot fully visualize, intuitively grasp, or mentally represent. - Could the ultimate answer be impossible to represent in human consciousness?
- Is the universe under any obligation to be comprehensible?
These questions are not meaningless merely because people cannot visualize their answers. Human beings already use mathematics to reason about curved spacetime, quantum states, infinity, and higher dimensions without possessing complete intuitive pictures of them. The boundary between the comprehensible and incomprehensible may therefore move as science, mathematics, language, and artificial intelligence develop.
