India’s maiden human spaceflight mission ‘Gaganyaan’ is expected to be launched in 2024, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh said.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will send at least two astronauts into a low earth orbit (LEO) in 2024 after assessing the outcome of two orbital test flights which are scheduled for 2022 and 2023.
Details of the Gaganyaan program are provided in IRSO’s 2021 to 2022 annual report.
