As of August 9, 2022 the FAA has 63 licensed and permitted launches, and reentry operations. There were a total of 64 in all of 2021!
The FAA have forecast a low and high estimate for yearly demand out to 2026.
In 2026, they are expecting between 59 and 186 licensed and permitted launches and reentry operations.
Note that all US headquartered launch service providers are required to get an FAA license regardless of launch country. Launch service providers may also need to get licensed by the launch country if they are launching outside the US, e.g. Virgin Orbit.
